The Zebra Z-Select 2000T 51x32 mm is a premium paper thermal-transfer label with a smooth, coated top layer. This makes this series particularly suitable when print quality is important and barcodes, small text, and product information need to remain clearly legible.

 

4,240 labels per roll

Each industrial roll contains: 4,240 labels. You receive 10 rolls per box. This means one full package contains:

• 42,400 labels

Due to the compact 51x32 mm size, many labels fit on a single roll. This is convenient for workplaces where large numbers of barcode and product labels are printed daily.

 

Large industrial roll

The Zebra Z-Select 2000T 51x32 mm features:

• 76.2 mm core
• approx. 200 mm outer diameter
• approx. 54 mm roll width

This is a roll size for midrange and industrial Zebra label printers. The combination of the small label size and the large roll allows you to work for longer before the roll needs to be replaced.

 

Thermal transfer with ribbon

The Zebra Z-Select 2000T is printed using thermal transfer technology. With this printing technique, the printhead heats a ribbon, transferring the ink from the ribbon onto the label.

Therefore, you do need a thermal transfer ribbon for this.

For this product line, Zebra recommends, among others:

• Zebra 2300 wax
• Zebra 2100 wax
• Zebra 3200 wax/resin
• Zebra 3400 wax/resin

For this specific roll size, the Zebra 2300 wax ribbon, 60 mm wide, is recommended, among others.

 

Premium coated paper

Z-Select 2000T is made of smooth, white, and matte coated paper. The protective top layer ensures better print quality than a standard uncoated paper label. This is a particular advantage for small barcodes, fine text, and fast printing processes.

The coating also provides better resistance to moisture and oil, among other things, compared to uncoated paper.

This makes Z-Select 2000T interesting when labels:

• Need to be printed sharply
• Contain small text
• Require a clear barcode
• Need to look professional
• Must remain legible during normal use

 

Permanent adhesive (acrylic)

The labels are equipped with a permanent acrylic adhesive. This adhesive is intended for applications where the label must remain firmly attached to many common surfaces after application.

This makes these labels suitable for use on, for example:

• Cardboard boxes
• Product packaging
• Storage bins
• Shipping packages
• Many smooth plastic and paper surfaces

The permanent adhesive is particularly practical for product, warehouse, and logistics applications where the label is not intended to be easily removed later.

Are you dealing with an unusual, rough, or difficult surface? Then we advise you to check in advance whether the adhesive is suitable for your application.

 

For daily indoor use

Z-Select 2000T has been developed for a wide range of indoor applications.

The compact 51x32 mm format offers space for, for example:

Thanks to the coated top layer, this series offers more protection against environmental influences than an uncoated paper label. For long-term outdoor use or applications with heavy chemical exposure, we recommend a material specifically developed for that purpose.

 

Gap detection without black mark

The labels are die-cut individually and have approximately 3.175 mm of space between each label. The printer uses this space to determine where each subsequent label begins.
