The Zebra Z-Select 2000T 102x76 mm features:

This is a roll size for midrange and industrial Zebra label printers.

Thermal transfer with ribbon

The Zebra Z-Select 2000T is printed via thermal transfer. In this process, the print head heats a ribbon, transferring the print onto the label. You therefore do need a thermal transfer ribbon for these labels.

For standard applications, a Zebra 2300 wax ribbon is used, for example. For applications requiring more resistance to smudging or scratching, a wax/resin ribbon may be more suitable depending on the situation.

Premium coated paper

Z-Select 2000T is made of smooth, white, and matte coated paper.

The protective coating ensures, among other things:

• Sharp barcodes and small text
• Good print definition
• Suitability for higher print speeds
• More resistance to moisture and oil than uncoated paper
• A neat, uniform appearance

This positions the Z-Select 2000T a step above a standard uncoated paper label like the Z-Perform 1000D.

Permanent adhesive (acrylic)

The labels are equipped with a permanent acrylic adhesive. This adhesive is intended for applications where the label must remain firmly attached to many common surfaces after application.

This makes these labels suitable for use on, for example:

• Warehouse bins
• Shipping packages
• Many smooth plastic and paper surfaces

The permanent adhesive is especially practical for product, warehouse, and logistics applications where the label is not intended to be easily removed later.

Perforation between labels

An important feature of 3006326 is the perforation in the backing between the labels. This allows you to easily tear off a printed label, including the backing paper, from the rest of the roll.

This is useful, for example, when:

• multiple labels are printed in succession;
• labels are taken to a different workstation;
• printed labels are distributed across multiple boxes or products;
• the label is not applied directly next to the printer.

The labels use gap detection and do not have a black mark.
