The Zebra Z-Perform 1000D 38x38 mm is a compact square label that allows you to print small labels directly on the work floor. Due to the square format, this size is especially useful when the available space on a product, bin, or shelf is limited.

38x38 mm: compact yet highly functional

The label measures exactly 38.1 x 38.1 mm. This provides sufficient room for, for example, one clear barcode with a short code or number below it. A simple layout could be:

• Barcode
• Article number

or:

• Location code
• Short description

This size is too small for extensive shipping information. The 38x38 mm label truly excels for compact identification.

Designed for on-the-job printing

This version comes on a small roll with a 19 mm core and an outer diameter of approximately 53 mm. It is therefore designed for mobile Zebra label printers. This is convenient when employees need to be able to print labels while they:

• pick orders;
• check inventory;
• replenish products;
• receive goods;
• check warehouse locations;
• identify items on the spot.

This saves you from having to return to a stationary printer for every small label.

270 labels per compact roll

Each roll contains 270 labels. A box consists of 20 rolls, meaning you receive a total of:

• 5,400 labels

The rolls are kept intentionally small to fit into mobile printers. Consequently, the number of labels per roll is lower than with a desktop or industrial version, but the trade-off is that you can easily carry the printer with you while working.

Black mark for mobile label detection

The Zebra Z-Perform 1000D 38x38 mm is equipped with a black mark between the labels. The printer uses this black mark on the reverse side to accurately detect where each subsequent label begins.

This version features:

• Black mark detection
• Die-cut labels
• No perforation
• Outside winding

The black mark is important: if you use this roll in another printer, that printer must support this detection method.

Uncoated direct thermal paper

Z-Perform 1000D is Zebra's uncoated direct thermal paper quality for general-purpose applications. The material is white and matte and is primarily intended for labels used indoors.

Because the paper is direct thermal, the printhead creates the impression directly onto the material.

Therefore, you do not need:

• Ribbon
• Ink
• Toner

This is extra practical with a mobile printer, as you only need to replace the label roll.

Permanent acrylic adhesive

The Zebra Z-Perform 1000D 38x38 mm uses a permanent acrylic adhesive. This glue is intended for reliable adhesion on many common surfaces within, for example, warehousing, logistics, and product identification.

The label is therefore suitable for applications where it needs to remain in place after being applied. Do you specifically need temporary labels that can be easily removed later? Then a removable version would be a better choice.

For Zebra QLn220 and ZQ610

Zebra includes this specific version for mobile printers such as:

• Zebra QLn220
• Zebra ZQ610

The current Zebra ZQ610 Plus can also handle this roll in terms of its physical media specifications.

In fact, the ZQ610 Plus supports:

• media from 25 mm wide;
• rolls up to approx. 55.9 mm outer diameter;
• a 19 mm core;
• black mark detection.
