Z-Perform 1000D 102x102mm

Mobile printing doesn't automatically mean you can only use small labels.

The Zebra Z-Perform 1000D 102x102 mm combines a spacious square label with a compact roll for mobile Zebra printers. This is convenient when employees need a larger label immediately during the warehouse or logistics process, without having to walk back to a stationary printer.

102x102 mm provides real space

With a size of 101.6 x 101.6 mm, you have significantly more print space than on the smaller mobile Z-Perform formats. For example, you can combine a large barcode with:

• Product or article number
• Order number
• Warehouse location
• Short product description

The square format is especially practical when both the barcode and additional information need to remain clearly visible.

For a full 102x152 mm address or shipping label, it is better to choose a longer format. This 102x102 mm version sits exactly in between: plenty of space, but still compact enough for mobile use.

Compact mobile roll with 150 labels

Although the label itself is large, the entire roll remains compact. Each roll has:

• 19 mm core
• approx. 66 mm outside diameter
• approx. 104.8 mm roll width

This allows the roll to be used in mobile Zebra printers that support wide 4-inch media.

Each roll contains 150 labels. With 16 rolls per box, you receive a total of:

• 2,400 labels

The number per roll is intentionally lower than with desktop or industrial rolls. A 102x102 mm label uses relatively a lot of material, while the roll must remain small enough for a mobile printer.

Black mark and perforation

The Zebra Z-Perform 1000D 102x102 mm uses a black mark on the back of the liner material. The printer uses this mark to accurately detect where each new label begins.

This version also features perforation in the backing paper.

This means:

• Black mark detection
• Die-cut labels
• Perforation in the backing
• Approx. 3.175 mm space between labels
• Outside wound
• One label across

Thanks to the perforation, you can easily tear off a printed part of the roll if labels are taken away or distributed before they are applied.

Direct thermal without ribbon

The Zebra Z-Perform 1000D 102x102 mm is made of white, uncoated direct thermal paper. The print head heats the paper directly to make text and barcodes visible.

A ribbon is therefore not required.

You do not use thermal transfer ribbon, ink, or toner. This is especially practical for mobile printing, as you only need to replace the label roll.

Permanent acrylic adhesive

The labels are equipped with a permanent acrylic adhesive. This glue is made for applications where the label must remain firmly attached to many common surfaces after application. This is suitable for boxes, packaging, warehouse locations, and product identification, for example.

Do you specifically need a label that can be easily removed later? Then a removable version is a better choice.

Practical material for indoor use

Z-Perform 1000D is Zebra's standard uncoated direct thermal paper quality. The material is primarily intended for general indoor use, such as in warehouses, distribution, retail, and product identification.

Because the paper does not have a protective top coating, it is less suitable for prolonged exposure to moisture, oil, direct sunlight, or harsh conditions.

For such applications, we recommend a more heavily protected label material.

For wide mobile Zebra printers

The Zebra Z-Perform 1000D 102x102 mm is specifically offered for mobile Zebra printers such as:

• Zebra QL420
• Zebra QL420 Plus
• Zebra QLn420

The roll has a 19 mm core, an outside diameter of approximately 66 mm, and a total media width of approximately 104.8 mm.

The current Zebra ZQ630 Plus also physically supports wide media up to 111 mm, rolls up to 66.8 mm outside diameter, a 19 mm core, and black mark detection.

This means that the dimensions fall within the media specifications of the ZQ630 Plus. We are happy to check official SKU compatibility with a specific printer model for you.
